Jason Unruh on a project site in Edmond
Jason Unruh, EI, Project Specialist, is the newest Red Rock Consulting employee, beginning in December of 2010. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors of Science in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering. Jason’s Masters thesis research evaluated lime pretreatment for cementitious stabilization of high plasticity soils. He has experience in field and laboratory testing of soils including general properties and mechanical behavior testing. Jason’s most recent experience includes field work and project management.

Red Rock Consulting (RRC) and Drilling Services of Oklahoma (DSO) recently celebrated the holiday season together with a dinner party at the new RRC office. The evening ended with a tour of Edmond and Oklahoma City Christmas lights.

Red Rock Consulting has moved into a 2,200 square foot office/shop facility located in Highwater Business Park at 7042 Highwater Circle, Suite B, in Edmond, Oklahoma. After spending some quality bonding time with 3 employees in a home office, the company is enjoying some much needed space. The space is well warranted with the addition of another new employee on December 6.
The new office features individual offices with reception, kitchen, gym and shop areas. The office was built out especially for RRC. The layout and interior design was provided by Red Prairie Design Group.

In June, 2010 Red Rock Consulting was certified as a Building Resources In Developing & Growing Enterprises (BRIDGE) business by the City of Tulsa.
The City of Tulsa’s BRIDGE program is much like ODOT’s DBE program, where larger firms are encouraged to use firms owned by minorities and women. ODOT and the City of Tulsa frequently specify a percentage of a project must utilize DBE/BRIDGE certified companies when possible.

Red Rock Consulting and DSO recently completed two projects in Tulsa, Oklahoma. One was a commercial development and the other was a municipal pavement project.
Our team travels all over Oklahoma and north Texas to provide geotechnical engineering services. We have worked from Woodward, Oklahoma to Marshall, Texas and many places in between.
