Red Rock Consulting, LLC was formed in Edmond, Oklahoma in 2009. Red Rock Consulting is committed to providing geotechnical engineering services in an environmentally friendly way, through company practices as well as sustainable design recommendations.
Kristi K. Bumpas, PE, LEED AP
Kristi Bumpas, PE, LEED AP, President and Project Engineer, is responsible for geotechnical engineering projects and business development. She is a registered professional engineer in Oklahoma and Texas.
Ms. Bumpas has extensive experience in soils testing and evaluation, pavement testing and evaluation and project management. Areas of focus include mitigation of expansive soils (including sulfate soils), pavement design and sustainable design through innovative geotechnical applications and foundation recommendations.
Kristi was born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She attended college at Oklahoma State University, where she received a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering and where she will recieve a MS in Geotechnical Engineering in May 2012. Kristi now resides in Edmond, Oklahoma, with her husband and daughters.
Jason T. Unruh, EI
Jason Unruh, EI, Project Specialist, handles geotechnical projects, overseeing the field and lab work as well as reporting the findings. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors of Science in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering.
Mr. Unruh’s Masters thesis research evaluated lime pretreatment for cementitious stabilization of high plasticity soils. He has experience in field and laboratory testing of soils including general properties and mechanical behavior testing. Jason’s most recent experience includes field work and project management.
Jason was born in Okeene, Oklahoma and raised in Hitchcock, Oklahoma. He currently resides in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Robel Gibbe, EI, Project Specialist, is the newest Red Rock Consulting employee, beginning in February of 2012. He graduated from Bahir Dar University in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering and from Oklahoma State University with a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering. Robel worked as a contract employee for Red Rock Consulting in 2011, where he gained experience in field work.
Polly Sharp
Polly Sharp, Administrative Assistant, joined the Red Rock team in November of 2011. She has many years of experience in administrative support and event management. Polly assists with geotechnical reports while manning the phone and managing the office. She has quickly become a valuable member of the Red Rock team.
Polly was born and raised in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She currently resides in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
In addition to being a Red Rock Consulting team member, Polly is also an impressionist landscape artist. She is currently working on a special piece for the Red Rock Consulting office.
