Red Rock Consulting was formed in Edmond, Oklahoma in 2009.  Over the last 9 years the team has grown from 1 to 7.

 

KRISTI BUMPAS, PE, LEED AP

Kristi K. Bumpas, PE, LEED AP

Kristi K. Bumpas, PE, LEED AP, President and Project Engineer, is responsible for geotechnical engineering projects and soils laboratory testing.  She is a registered professional engineer in Oklahoma, Texas, KansasColorado, Missouri and Illinois.  Kristi holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University.

Ms. Bumpas has extensive experience in soils testing and evaluation, slope stability analysis, settlement analysis. pavement testing and evaluation and project management.  Areas of focus include slope stability, settlement of compressible soils, mitigation of expansive soils (including sulfate soils), pavement design and sustainable design through innovative geotechnical applications and foundation recommendations.

JEREMY BASLER, PE

Jeremy W. Basler, PE

Jeremy Basler, PE, Geotechnical Manager, is responsible for business development and the management of the geotechnical engineering operations.  He is a registered professional engineer in Oklahoma and Texas.  Jeremy attended college at Oklahoma State University, where he received a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering.

Mr. Basler has extensive experience in soils testing and evaluation, foundation and pavement consulting.  Areas of focus include earthwork, foundation and pavement recommendations, expansive soils, pressuremeter testing, cone penetrometer testing, slope stability, settlement of compressible soils, geotechnical forensics and dam inspections.

Jeremy has been involved in geotechnical investigations for bridges, roadways, wind farms, solar farms, commercial buildings, retaining walls, utility relocations, industrial and chemical plants, pipelines, storage tanks, communication towers, lagoons and water treatment plants.

DANIEL BOLIN, EI

Daniel M. Bolin, EI

Daniel Bolin, EI, Project Specialist, handles geotechnical projects, overseeing field and lab work as well as reporting the findings.  He attended Oklahoma Christian University where he was a Division II NCAA soccer player and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering.  Mr. Bolin will begin work on a masters degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering at Oklahoma University in the fall of 2018.

In his spare time Daniel enjoys volunteering as an assistant soccer coach for kids 18 and under at the Midwest City Soccer Club.

SHAWN ALLRED, EI

Shawn M. Allred, EI

Shawn Allred, EI, Project Specialist, handles geotechnical projects.  He coordinates and performs field investigations and soils laboratory work.  Mr. Allred attended the University of Oklahoma where he earned both a Bachelors and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering.   His Masters thesis work evaluated the

seismic performance of grouped helical piles in pinned and fixed connections.

Shawn was a summer intern for Red Rock in 2015.  We are happy to have him back!

SPENCER HARRIS

Spencer Harris

Spencer Harris, Project Specialist, handles geotechnical investigations.  He coordinates and performs field work.  Mr. Harris graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors of Science in Geology.  While at Oklahoma State he performed research in the hydrogeology and carbonate labs as well as participating in field investigations involving geophysical imaging, electrical resistivity and groundwater.

MELANIE RUSSELL

Melanie D. Russell

Melanie Russell, Office Administrator, is superwoman.  She graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma.  Melanie has more than 15 years experience as an office manager and human resources specialist.  She handles the office management, accounting and human resources in addition to assisting with reports, marketing and anything else that comes up, all while answering the phone and being team cheerleader.

 

CHAD PIERSON

Chad C. Pierson

Chad Pierson, Laboratory Manager, runs the Red Rock Consulting laboratory in addition to performing soils testing.  Chad is an ODOT certified soils technician.
