Red Rock Consulting, LLC was formed in Edmond, Oklahoma in 2009. Red Rock Consulting is committed to providing geotechnical engineering services in an environmentally friendly way, through company practices as well as sustainable design recommendations.

Kristi K. Bumpas, PE, LEED AP
Kristi Bumpas is a project engineer responsible for geotechnical engineering projects and business development. She is a registered professional engineer in Oklahoma and Texas. Ms. Bumpas has extensive experience in soils testing and evaluation, pavement testing and evaluation and project management. Areas of focus include mitigation of expansive soils (including sulfate soils), pavement design and sustainable design through innovative geotechnical applications and foundation recommendations.
Kristi Bumpas was born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She attended college at Oklahoma State University, where she received a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering and where she has continued to study for a MS in Geotechnical Engineering. Kristi now resides in Edmond, Oklahoma, with her husband and daughter.

Red Rock Consulting’s President and Project Engineer, Kristi Bumpas, is the only geotechnical engineer in the state of Oklahoma who is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP). There are many foundation alternatives and construction practices that can be initiated by the geotechnical engineer and incorporated into the project. Each geotechnical engineering report from Red Rock Consulting, regardless of the project’s LEED status, includes an “Environmental Considerations” section which addresses sustainable design ideas.
In addition to LEED accreditation and sustainable project ideas, Red Rock Consulting is a steward of the environment by providing all proposals and most reports in electronic format. Hard copies of reports, when necessary, are printed double sided on 100% recycled paper. All office supplies are made of recycled materials, when available, including the computer system. All paper products in the office are recycled and a hybrid vehicle is utilized for company travel.
